"Wasted Time" is one of a new series of paintings that are inspired by quotes about time. It features a small desk clock on the windowsill of an apparently abandoned house. The window frames a snowy winter scene in the background. A quote by Mason Cooley is scratched into the weathered wood of the sill. Cooley was an American aphorist known for his witty aphorisms (short, memorable statements that express general truths or moral principles).
 
Painted in oil on 11" x 14" cradled basswood panel with clock face laser engraved for precision. A sawtooth hanger has been installed at the back for easy hanging.
