"A Stitch in Time" is one of a new series of paintings that are inspired by adages about time. It features an embroidered clock face and the implements used to embroider it. From the adage "A Stitch in Time Saves Nine," the number nine is in progress!
 
Painted in oil on 11" x 14" cradled basswood panel. A sawtooth hanger has been installed at the back for easy wall hanging.
 
A high precision quartz clock mechanism is embedded into the painting. It offers watchmaker’s accuracy and dependability, is equipped with sweeping motion (no ticking), and is powered by a AA battery (included).
